A continuity architecture, not a single tool.
VANTHOS is a long-horizon systems architecture for human–AI collaboration. Its central concern is continuity: keeping the important state of work coherent as time, tools, sessions, and circumstances change.
What VANTHOS is
VANTHOS began as an independently developed architecture for preserving continuity across AI-assisted work. Rather than treating every interaction as isolated, the project explores how intent, constraints, provenance, decisions, relationships, unresolved work, and return paths can remain available and governable over time.
The architecture has been expressed through multiple research and beta surfaces, including Vanthos Lite, Vanthos Hub, continuity-engine experiments, deployment work, and later HomeCore development.
Design posture
VANTHOS is human-governed. The system's historical governance work emphasizes operator override, traceability, provenance, explicit policy, and controlled change. Its aim is not autonomous authority for its own sake; it is coherent assistance that remains accountable to the person or organization using it.
